Michelle L. Hock

Background

Michelle joined the firm in 2004 and brought along her desire to work with people. With a background in Human Resources, Michelle adds a different flavor to our everyday services. Her role as “Master of Making Happen” has encouraged her to focus on innovation, agility, and teamwork.

Areas of Specialty

  • Intimately involved with our new web based recordkeeping system from sales to training employees and employers on the new system. She adds a personal touch of service by being the "help desk" to participants and sponsors if they happen to experience difficulty with the system.
  • Conducts employee education meetings to enhance the communication of benefits to employees. Our “Grow Your Retirement” presentation helps employees appreciate plan sponsor’s generosity, learn to make saving for retirement a priority, and through the use of individual statements, determine whether they are on the right track in saving.
  • Facilitates Markley Actuarial's sales and marketing, including introducing Markley Actuarial to referral sources and educating them on the value we add through our unique plan designs, experienced experts on staff, fee for service, etc.

Education

  • BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management

Just for Fun

  • Plays softball and dodge ball
  • Recently married her high school sweetheart
