Background
Jan joined the firm in 1995 and has over 19 years of experience in the actuarial profession. She brings to the firm her experience in the areas of life insurance, health insurance and medical malpractice insurance. Her primary responsibilities include providing actuarial services to clients.
Areas of Specialty
- Serves as Compliance Champion for the firm, thereby assuming lead role in investigation and compliance issues
- Serves as Consultant and Enrolled Actuary for small to medium employers sponsoring defined benefit pension plans
- Serves as Consultant and Actuary for small, medium and large employers sponsoring defined benefit pension plans
- Serves as Consultant for section 125 plans and welfare plans
- Serves as Consultant and Authorized Actuary for municipalities sponsoring defined benefit and defined contributions plans
- Coordinates plan document restatements, IRS Form 5500 reporting, and PBGC premium filings
Education
- BS degree in Actuarial Science from Lebanon Valley College, cum laude

- Jan's idea of a triathlon is the elliptical, arc trainer and spin class at 5 a.m., with some weight training thrown in for fun.
